My daughter was born here. medical billing aside. All but one of the nurses was great. My wife was well taken care of and our daughter’s birth had 0 complications.

I had a double lumpectomy and lymph nodes removed I was in so much pain (crying) I rang for the nurse for pain meds no one came in until 1 1/2 hour later. Worst hospital ever. I can go on with a list of things that went wrong.

Every time we've been there, they've done the best job they're able to do. They're simply humans helping humans and my whole family is thankful for they're staff.

Well, the discharge process takes way too long, and there's a social worker there who's a smart aleck and extremely unprofessional!

The experience that I received doesn't even warrant one star. From start to finish I have never experienced that in my entire life. I have had many surgeries and the prep for this one was horrible. My surgery was suppose to be at 1 and as we all know, you cannot eat or drink after 10am. So I obeyed the rules and didn't have anything from 10am on. We get there and they appear "overbooked". There are 20 beds in the outpatient area and they booked over 30. By 12:35 I was in a room waiting to be wheeled up to the pre-op room. This is where it gets worse. I was stabbed about 12 times by 5 different people to get an IV started. The best line was "oh you must be dehydrated". No kidding, I haven't drank anything as instructed since 9:50am and it is now 1:45 and I am still laying here waiting. They decide to take me to the OR and try to run the IV from in there since at this point I was about to tell them to take me back to my clothes so I can leave this place now. They wheel me into the OR and by some miracle, they are able to run the IV. I get out of surgery and go thru the motions until I get to my room to eat something small and drink so I can use the bathroom and go home. So now we are waiting to leave and I am then told that someone stuck themselves with one of the many needles that they couldn't run in my arm and they were waiting for the lab people to come and take my blood. REALLY!!! They should have done that while I was up in the OR, not when I wanted to go home. I have never experienced that in my life. I have had over 8 surgeries in my life and I will NEVER set foot in that part of the hospital again. The person who scheduled my surgery and the others that had to endure the way too long of a stay in a place where it was supposed to be short since it is called "short procedure unit", should have to sit in that tiny waiting room for 7 hours with no food or drink and get poked with a needle 12 times to see how their screw up affected people. There is no way that they would have ever scheduled themselves that torture and ended up with 6 black and blue marks on their arms.
