Staff was very nice. Room was clean. No pet fee for my dog. However, when I was going into my room the housekeeper was knocking on the door of room 171 across the hall from me. She opened it and I could see legs and feet on the bed. She banged on the wall inside the room. She came back out and I asked if someone was in there. She said yes, he's sleeping. Turns out he was dead. There's already a new guest in that room tonight sitting on the dead guy bed. No special cleaning crew came in. Mattress wasn't replaced. Hours ago that room had a dead body and cops in it...

I was scammed during my stay at Motel 6. At 7 AM Friday morning I received a call over the Motel 6 phone in my room. The caller said he was the manager and the motel computer crashed and they needed to start over with my information. The computer would rebook my room for someone else if I hung up the phone and went to the office to take care of it in person. I have a lot of excuses for why that scam worked on me but I keep coming back to this: apparently you can call directly to a room, any room without going through the motel switchboard. I did not know that was possible. It sure makes scamming ignoramuses like me easy. I have always had the experience that if I called a h/motel someone would talk to me before I was connected to a room. That person would ask who I wanted to talk to, and would not give me a room number for that person. They also would not just connect me with a room. Anyway, I hope some of my friends can learn from my mistake. The limit on my credit card is pretty low. I had about half in reserve, so that is what the scammer got away with, half my credit limit. I did call the credit card fraud line and talked to someone within ten minutes but way too late by then. I do not know if I will have to pay the fraudulent charges or not at this point. I am guessing I will. What really upsets me is that the office staff knew all about this scam, it had apparently been run at this Motel 6 numerous times. Thanks for the heads up Motel 6! I will never stay with you again!

The rooms themselves were not bad for a motel 6. However, there were some issues. First the key cards had to be reset twice. Second, poor customer service at the front desk. I had my kids and needed extra pillows and blankets which they could not provide. I will probably be staying elsewhere on my next trip out here

The rooms are weak, no cozy feel with the fake wood laminate floors. No bathtub & the toilet is loud as hell. The electrical outlets are scarce and or in inconvenient. No breakfast offering, no restaurants near the location. Nothing but a highway entry point adjacent. So for the rate, it just plain sucks. Oh, but the staff is cool.

I haven't stayed here but my business has me stopping in to most of the hotels and motels in the area regularly. Unless you can't afford anything else, avoid this place. The staff is fine, but the place is a dump and there is a reason police and fire are always here.
