PROS: This is a nice motel. Very clean. Lots of places to walk dogs. Mini fridge and microwave in the room. CONS: Bed was very hard. If you like a firm bed then this would be good for you. Sparsely furnished. TV had bad reception so was fuzzy.

We have stayed at this Motel 6 several times as this is a halfway stop for us. We now 3 small dogs as we rescued a small chihuahua last December. Our other 2 are 7 pound Pomeranians, We had no problem there in June on our way North. As usual on our trip home I booked our favorite room online on route that morning. We stopped for the day. I checked in and was told I would have to pay $10 extra for 2 of our dogs. I was told pay for them or I couldn't stay there. I asked why this was not on the website. The woman behind the desk said it was new. She went into the back room and came out with a printed sheet that said new policy. One free pet.. $10 each after that. I asked why it wasn't posted in the lobby. I told her it would be the last time we would stay there. We had been on the road since 1am and we were hungry and tired or we would have gone further and not stayed. The woman came to our room as we were going in and said she talked to the manager and they credited one $10 fee. I have not seen that Motel 6 now limits to 1 pet. Perhaps this particular one has decided to make some extra money. I just checked my CC account and notice that on 9/16 there were 2 more $10 charges and 2 $10 credits. On 9/17 there was another $10 credit. Not sure if anyone behind the desk knew what they were doing!

The room was relatively clean, and I will say I was comfortable. However, because of a transportation problem, that I alerted the Management about, I was running late checking out. At a later date, when I needed to reserve a room again I was told that I could not rent rooms at this facility anymore because the front desk attendant stated he had a hard time " getting me out if the room". Considering the television didn't work correctly, there was no ice, the next room was very loud, and there were drugs being sold on premises....I thought I was a very considerate, responsible guest. I will search for an establishment with more class, less drama, and one who knows the value of a good customer.

The check in process was quick and simple. The main office was very clean. Finding my room wasn't too difficult but it would have been easier with a set of stairs on the other side of the building. The room smelled like men's body spray but not overwhelmingly. The room was very modern and spacious. The bed was clean and very comfortable. The shower faucet sat very low on the wall so taller guest may have to bend over more than normal to rinse shampoo out of their head. The AC kept the room cool and the check out process was simple. Overall, a very good value for the money.

Nice lady at front desk. Room was clean. It is an older hotel that has been remodeled. Therefore, the walls are very thin, no frills (no coffee maker/soap) etc.... But overall a good value, would stay again. Also, this place is right off of 81 but there is nothing around it. Everything is at next exit South on 81 though. Keep that in mind. Only real negative would be that the bed wasn't too comfortable.
