Our "go to" get away. Lots to do (or not, if you just want to chill). Regal Vistas are the top of the timeshare line and the fireplace in the bedroom as well as the living room made it a cozy way to celebrate Christmas. We made a fancy meal that day in the more than adequate kitchen. The fridge worked well for our left overs from our restaurant trips. Comfy beds and lots of towels. Especially enjoyed the soap making experience offered by the crafts Dept.

I go there mainly for rest and relaxation.  When my children were younger, we enjoyed numerous activities.  My hubby and I undertake daily outings, even the mall.  I also spend a fraction of the time in the Jacuzzi.  It would be nice to have a night club on the premises with live entertainment and an additional restaurant with later hours.  Overall, it's a great place.

This place is beautiful all around.  Coming here as a tourist from South Florida, we were fascinated by the scenery around the resort including the snowy white top mountains and frozen filled with ducks and swans.  

There's a lot to do in the area.  The Ski resort is a lot of fun.  It is worth noting that there are some great skiing & tubing specials that are worth taking advantage of.  For example, the Tubing Tuesdays for $20 or Monday Madness skiing/snowboarding for $40 which includes the equipment.  

There are several caverns just outside of the resort which are really cool. Also, the nearby city of Harrisonburg has a Main Street area which is a fun hang-out spot.  

And finally, Washington D.C. is only about a 2-hour drive from the resort.  So you can feel free to include a day at the nation's capitol as part of your trip.

Fantastic unique place to go to in any season!! They have their own police/security, strict speed limits. Great choice of rentals. Very family friendly!! Plenty of activities to choose from and great food places.

Nice place. In the mountains, so expect to ride up and down large hills. Whatch out for deer and such in fall and winter. Unfortunately it is winter but too warm for ski slopes so we are just enjoying the other amenities. Did I say large mountain hills.....oh yeah, that being said. It would really help to have some road reflectors or something. If you not use to areas like this, the darkness is borderline scary if you don't know the roads and hills. So.e sort of light or reflectors would help a ton.
