What is Zumba?
Zumba is a fitness class that combines dance and fitness moves. Inspired by Latin dance and music, Zumba uses a variety of styles in its routines, including Cumbia, Merengue, salsa, reggaeton, mambo, rumba, flamenco, and a hip hop. Music selections include both fast and slow rhythms to help tone and sculpt the body. You could burn between 350 to 900 calories PER class, BUT it all depends on how you exert yourself.
Chick boxing - Enjoy high-intensity drills while burning 300-600 calories.* A cardiovascular workout consisting of jabs, hooks, uppercuts and kicks designed to get you on your way to a leaner body and a healthier state of mind. No equipment is used. Most suitable to participants of medium to high fitness levels, but newcomers are always welcome – just let your chickboxing class instructor know.
Body Toning - is a strength training workout that combines flexibility and cardiovascular conditioning using just one set dumbbells. Body toning is designed to shape and tone the body without building muscular size or bulk. Body toning is highly recommended to those enrolled in a weight loss program because it helps retain lean muscle tissue while boosting metabolism. Any fitness level can enroll.
