DMV’s own website says open until 6:45 on Thursday, so we made the 20 minute drive from out of town.  Got there at 5:50.  Hours posted by the locked door say closed at at 5:45.  Employee cracks the door and says “We’re closed, like it says on the sign.”  Assembled citizens (not just me) protest that the office’s own website says 6:45.  Employee goes on broken-record mode: “You’ll have to talk to John.  Talk to John.  Talk to John.”  Closes door.

John (whoever you are), save us from the pox on the great state of New York that is the DMV!!!

Incidentally, another Google reviewer posted the same complaint about closing times ELEVEN MONTHS AGO!!!

I know others have voiced displeasure but I have only had one employee who was mildly rude to me. I have worked with the general public and I know the verbal abuse they receive would wear on me also. How one is treated has alot to do with what say first and the tone of voice.

The employees are knowledgable and friendly enough but they have no initiative. I waited almost 2 hours for a line when there were only ten people ahead of me with 3 tellers helping customers.

The people at the DMV are a cancerous scourge upon society. Their hatred for their "customers" is only matched by their hatred for themselves.

Worst service ever not very often can you call or go in and be helped by someone that doesn't have an attitude or is so rude. Hopefully soon we will  be able  to do everything online and not have to deal with those people that clearly hate there job..
