Stopped by for a visit recently. New York doesn't always have a reputation for being super welcoming, but numerous people introduced themselves to me and I found it to be very welcoming. The Rabbi was very nice as well. Thanks for having me and looking forward to coming back!

Mount Sinai is a warm, welcoming shul with many programs geared toward a wide variety of interests.

I do recommend anyone who wants to learn about Orthodox Judaism and who wants to convert to Orthodox Judaism to visit this synagogue and be part of this community. This is absolutely THE Warmest Shul/Synagogue in Washington Heights/Inwood that there is, the rabbis are really friendly and even if you aren't Jewish, since the moment you enter, you feel at peace with welcoming people who start conversations and want you to be part of the congregation, not for you to be alienated and separated. The rabbis here are really welcoming and do not turn away people who want to convert to Orthodox Judaism, in fact they encourage them. Truly worth being part of, the only downside is that they close really early, at 2 pm on Fridays should be closed like around 6 pm, but on the rest of the week they're open until 4 pm.
