Explore YOUR interests. Connect to YOUR Jewish community. Enjoy time with YOUR peers.
This is The Rabbi Judah Nadich High School Program at Park Avenue Synagogue.
We are a community of Jewish teens learning, growing, and having fun together. We provide a Jewish space where you can discover your passions, build new skills, make an impact on the world, and prepare for your future. You can fill that space however you choose.
Our weekly Wednesday night program is at the core of the RJNHS community. Take a break from the busy week to eat, schmooze, and learn with your peers. We’ll explore a range of topics relevant to your experience as a Jewish teen today: defining personal values and ethical systems; making choices about life after high school; taking action on social justice issues; connecting to Israel and the global Jewish People; and much, much more.
But our youth community doesn’t exist just once each week. We offer chances for you to build your own menu of experiences and to contribute to the PAS community on an almost daily basis. Be sure to peruse this brochure for more details about everything that’s in store in the coming year.
Still don’t see what you’re looking for? We’ve embarked on an effort to expand our program in ways that engage all of our 8th-12th grade learners in Jewish life on their own terms. Email or call our new Director of Youth Engagement, Caryn Roman, and tell us what’s missing. Even better, come meet Caryn in person at a weekly ‘Starbucks Schmooze’ session and share your thoughts.
The picture of our community is incomplete without you – we hope you’ll join us!
