I purchased a car from one of Mountain America Credit Union members on Aug. 28, 2017. He still had a lien on it, so I brought a cashiers check for the exact amount of the purchase. His loan officer took the check, paid of his loan but when I asked for the title to the car, he said that it would take a couple of days to pull and it would be mailed to me. Not real happy about that but what can I do about it. One week later on Sept. 5, 2017, I still don't have the title. I need to register the car and take out a loan. Where is it??? I call and talked to Eileen Parker in the title department. She said that it take 2 weeks because all titles are held electronically and they had to order it. There was nothing that she could do but sent me a lien release by e-mail. She said that I should be able to get a title sooner with the lien release. DMV said NO, we don't know what she is talking about. Still waiting!!!! On Sept. 12, 2017 I called Eileen Parker back to ask where the title to this car, I still don't have it. She said that they have ordered it and I should have it this week some time. I said, I just pulled the carfax on the car again, and the DVM just receive the request on Sept. 8, 2017. Why was this title not ordered when I paid for the car, instead of almost 2 weeks after the fact. Eileen said that they hold check for one week. It was a cashiers check and I offered cash. Eileen said that the person that took the check did not note that it was a cashiers check. Sorry!!! I said, but I called you on Sept. 5th and you told me that it was ordered and sent me a lien release. So you lied about ordering the title. Again, sorry but there is nothing that she could do. Really, worst car buying experience and banking experience ever. For any one else out there, get a lien release from this bank, when you pay for any of the cars that they have title too. STILL WAITING FOR THIS TITLE. It have been 2.5 weeks now and still going. Really Pissed off!

My wife took my daughter here to open her a savings account. It took 2 hours! Horriable service and a waste of time. I usually love mountain America... in murray, stay south and save time!

That home town bank feel is hard to find these days. Mountain America has kept that despite how big they have gotten. The result is that there are a lot of great services available all over the Western US, but each branch still feels like a small hometown bank with great personal service. This branch is close to me so I am in there a few times a month and they always get me taken care of and back to running my business very quickly. I can't recommend Mountain America enough they are great!

I went in to learn about the new rates on CD's and I was welcomed right away by Lisa Johnson she was so helpful, knowledgeable and took her time explaining them to me. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

Lisa Johnson is the best! She has helped us with several loans over the last few years and her willingness to help is priceless. We live in Ogden, and we are more then happy to drive to Centerville just for Lisa's help!
