Mountain Fresh Grocery is a must~stop destination for locals and visitors alike. At the corner of 5th and Main Street, we are known for our breakfast, lunch and dinner. Burgers are ground in~house and served on a bun made in our own bakery. We serve hand~cut fries, fresh salads and wood-fired oven pizzas, made entirely from scratch. We have an excellent selection of wine, beer & mixed drinks, all offered by the glass. We have a butcher shop and also an espresso bar~which serves organic coffee that is roasted in~house. Add artisan cheeses, oils & vinegars, speciality foods, dinners to go, wine tastings, porch dinners and much more, then you will see, we are way more than a grocery store!

This place isn't cheap, and isn't a huge grocery. It's more of a go for a few items on your way out of town, or for lunch while you're in town. they have a good wine and olive oil selection. I've always found great local craft beer here too. The desserts are delicious. They have a lot of good stuff if you're going to be entertaining guests. It has a great atmosphere, and the parking lot is always crowded.

Great place for high quality breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great services, plenty of choices. Grocery store is well stocked. Great selection of wine, beer, champagne etc. Owner JT is present most of the times and very helpful and courteous. I will highly recommend this grocery store/ eatery.

Update: Get the bacon jam burger (it was a special item) , the best damn burger ever! This place is great for a quick bite to eat in Highlands, especially during the off season during the winter and late spring. The pizza is just fabulous, and the other side deli area makes awesome soups, sandwiches and burgers. They transition over the years from a restaurant/grocery store into primarily a restaurant/wine & beer and daily necessities; which is just fine with me. It's affordable compared to the other dinning options in Highlands

One of our favorite spots to eat. We usually go with a large group after church on Sundays and there's always a pretty long line... Because the food is awesome. It's priced fairly well for the area and the portions are quite large. Tons of selections on the menu and so far everything I've had has been great. As for the grocery part of the store, they have a great wine selection and their meat prices are better than many other places. They also have an olive oil area with infused oils and flavored balsamic vinegars that are very good.

A very cute place to eat. Have a little bit of everything. You can get awesome pizza, milkshakes, ice cream and sandwiches. Highly recommend it!
