Mountain Valley Arts Council seeks to infuse cultural artistry into an already diversely woven tapestry of communities both through our Gallery Exhibits and Free Public Concert Series.
The Mountain Valley Arts Council was first incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1970. Since that time, numerous changes have taken place in the operation but the mission has remained unchanged: “to aid, encourage, advise and correlate all activities dedicated to the promotion of cultural arts in Marshall County, Alabama, and neighboring communities, as may be found feasible, to integrate such activities into the total life of the communities served by the Council.”
Through membership dues, donations and grants, we strive to create a community replete with art.
