They're lucky I can't give them negative stars! I can never truly explain how bad of an experience I had with Mountain View Chevrolet Service Department. I had service lights come on and my vehicle would shut off intermittently numerous times while my vehicle would be in idle, I went to their department numerous times when the issue would come back up, the 1st couple times they said they found the issue but because of the front end damage my vehicle has, warranty would not cover it, so of course, I never got it done. Not to mention I had to continually call for an update, even when they had my vehicle for numerous days and basically harass them to even know what was going on)The last time I went, I went for an oil change and for the issue again, this time they dropped me home and 2 hours later call me and said they cant do the repair because of damage BUT later on i found out they never did the oil change either. The issue began to literally have my car die soon as I would go into idle period now and was doing it in the middle of California traffic on highways!!! I went to Mark Christopher Chevrolet, which was the next closest dealership, not only did they get everything replaced via warranty, they literally kept me updated the whole time. My 2016 Malibu needed a new engine!!!! I had been driving around with a torn up engine for all this time, terrible!!! If you want some good service to your vehicle, ask for Sam at Mark Christopher Chevrolet! He will make sure you are updated and well taken care of. I previously worked in a Chevrolet Dealership in another state for 5.5 years and had never seen or heard of anything this poor, no matter if the complaints were about the Dealership I worked at or someone leaving another Dealership for poor service and coming to ours. AND to make matters worse, my father had recently purchased a vehicle here before all my issues with the dealership began, and in the midst of me going through all this, he was called as onstar alerted their service his vehicle was due for an oil change, he sets an appointment for said oil change, he gets there, they tell him not to get the oil change his oil life was 30%, he needed to wait til he was under 10%.

My truck was in this service department for 2 months for a blown turbo on our 2009 Chevy 2500 that they had already fixed once, 36,000 miles prior. Only this time, our vehicle was out of warranty because it was over 5 years old. The repair was in excess of $10,000. We had a terrible time getting a written quote for our repair; finally we had to tell them they couldn't proceed on any further work until we received the written quote. It was next to impossible to get a hold of our Service Advisor and despite the numerous phone calls and messages we left for the service manager, we never received a phone call back. For an extremely loyal GM customer (I currently own 4 GM vehicles), I will NEVER set foot in this dealership or any affiliated dealership again. I will take my business to a dealership with better service and who care about their customers.

At check in, Juan was very friendly and helpful. Albert, my service advisor, was also attentive, helpful and kind. Getting a loaner vehicle while my vehicle is being serviced, was quick and easy.

Be careful. Shady finance department. Typical sleazy sales men.. Would rather go to dentist for root canal than buy a car here.

Great service when helped by Assistant Service Manager, Mark Davis. His knowledge and experience fix it right the first time.
