Not bad for a last minute book at a lower price. The rooms were quite outdated and minimal though clean. The walls/doors/everything are definitely thin, you can hear almost everything when there's any activity around. The heat at night also seemed extremely high, to the point where my husband had to put the AC on in the middle of the night. In the middle of winter. The staff were excellent though, they're very friendly and helpful. That alone made it worth coming to stay. It was easy to book and check in despite a last minute trip.

Great place. Older homey feel and friendly staff was great for our preseason stay. It snowed too! Breakfast had fresh hot muffins and bread alongside bagels. No hot food though.  It's only 5 minutes from downtown Stowe and a few more to Stowe mountain. Overall, highly recommended. No regrets.

This isn't so much as a review as it is a comment but I recently spent a week in Stowe and something odd caught my eye about this place: it sits well off the road, and is well lit up and appears welcoming, but there's never anyone there. Few or no guests, plus a rating of 3.8 stars, in a competitive town like Stowe?  Looking at other reviews, the best thing about the inn, is it's giant hot tub.  Add it all up, and that's not good.

I've been going here for several years and enjoy the hotel. The hot tub is large and great for groups. Hot breakfast is nice to have before a day of skiing.

Good place, friendly staff, and a killer hot tub. Seriously, you could fit like twenty people in that hot tub. We had a standard double room, pretty basic, and had a door to go outside to the large back lawn with a river running behind it. I'd come back.
