Carmine is an expert in the hair industry and a true professional.   I have been a client for the past four years and I can say he gave me back a sense of normalcy to my life.  My hair was thinning at a young age and Carmine came to the rescue.  I felt old and my confidence level was very low.   Some people may be "shocked" by the price of service for hair, but you get what you pay for., especially what it comes to hair.   I have never been disappointed.  I recommend him to anyone seeking advice for thinning hair or even just a new style.

I had went to Mr Carmine Salon recently, because my friend referred me to him. I had went to get help with my hair loss. Not only was the salon perfect, the employees were very helpful and attentive, always asking if i need anything. They even offered coffee and cookies . Mr. Carmine . himself took care of me . He gave me several solutions. He understood my situation and helped me resolve it. He is very aware of how i felt about my hair. He made me feel as if i made the right choice. He seems like he really wanted everyone to leave with a happy face. very organized and welcoming . Always punctual as well. I have been going for laser hair therapy for some time now. about a month and i already see results. My wife is happy and so am i. 

I strongly recommend Mr. Carmine International Hair Salon.

Mr. Carmine is run, somewhat unscrupulously, by the young women "managers."  Several months ago I made an appointment to get my hair cut and styled.  When the lady was cutting my hair, it didn't seem like she was cutting enough.  I was in a hurry and didn't want to be critical.  It cost $90.  In 3 weeks it needed to be cut again and I made another appointment-- this time to see Mr. Carmine.
I had planned to complain about the previous cut while expecting him to give me a better one.  When I arrived I was shown to a seat and a young woman began working on me.  I said, I made this appointment to see Mr. Carmine-- she drew some curtains back, pointed and said, that's Mr. Carmine!  He never looked up.  I said, I had just had a haircut, but it wasn't as short as I wanted.  She said, why didn't you come back in two weeks, we would have cut it again for free.  No one told me that, so I had to pay another $90 and never got to see Mr. Carmine.

I have alopecia and have worn a clip-in hairpiece for the past five years. I recently purchased a new piece and I heard about Mr. Carmine's and called to schedule an appointment for a cut and style. There was no difficulty scheduling, and the receptionist made an appointment for me with Valerie, who I was assured had experience cutting a hairpiece. At the time, I asked what the price would be. The receptionist said that would be determined at the time of service, after the stylist had a chance to see me. In hindsight, I should have been alerted by such a vague response.
Valerie and I talked briefly, after which she cut and styled my hair as to my request. I guess I should have asked how much the cost was then, but after making the trip, I was ready to have it done. after all, how much could a haircut cost? It took about 45 minutes for Valerie to consult, cut and blow out my hair. The big surprise came when I went to pay the bill. I was shocked when the receptionist told me it was $200!!! There should be more transparency in Mr. Carmine's business practices. If I had been told in the initial phone call that the cost would be between, say, $150 and $200, I could have made an informed decision about whether it would be worth it to me to schedule an appointment. As it is, I'm afraid that I can't recommend Mr. Carmine's services, which I believe to be misleading if not unethical in their billing policies.
