After the bill past $100 they refused to serve me alcoholic beverages. 

They were. Rude and obnoxious. Even after tipping damn near every employee that helped me. 

I will never recommend anyone here. If your having lunch beverages with friends. Please go anywhere but here. 

Save your time and money. $70 for three shots and beers

This was the venue for The SLO Comedy Revue in February and a good time had by all.  It was a great location at the ocean, big enough to handle the crowd with chairs in rows in front of a corner stage, with a full bar, and two large bar tables.  The audio was excellent with the use of a microphone and great acoustics.  The drinks were pricey though @ $17 for a draft and a mai tai, but mai tai was good.  This is the first time I have been in the new Mr. Rick's since it was rebuilt by Unocal from the huge oil leak.  The former Mr. Rick's was pretty hoppin' bringing in some good live music back then before the crisis.  Definitely would go again to check out the live music and crowd.

Great views, outside seating area, great food from Custom House. Beer selection is not bad at all, bar games, music and dog friendly patio.
