Beautiful and peaceful park. Great trails and marked really well. Was able to navigate with 2 small kids. There's camping here as well! Can't wait to check it out! Ropes course is by reservation :)

I love Mt Lakes Park for the wonderful view of the 4 lakes inside the park. Quiet, clean, with a lot of trail for everyone. The trail are easy to follow. Look out point is a fantastic place, wonderful for a walk and the beautiful view. Nice to have a morning meditation or yoga exercise.

Gorgeous northern Westchester woods. Can be busy in the summer with camps but great nonetheless. Lookout Point has great views of Lewisboro's lakes and the Connecticut line. There are cabins and camping available most of the year.

By the observation area, we ran into wedding planners that has just finished a wedding ceremony there. The views in the Fall are amazing with the leaves turning colors. The hiking trails/paths seem to bring you back to where you started, which is great for those who are challenged in the navigation department. We went off roads, that was an amazing experience. This area is only about 60 min drive from NYC.

The park is nice. We hiked the orange trail and saw a variety of small wildlife. Just beware that when the trail map says the orange trail follows the road they mean it seriously. We were hiking the last half of the trail just as their summer day camp was being released and spend the last 40 min of our hike battling cars and buses of leaving kids and staff. It would have been nice if that had been somewhat publicized. We would have chosen a different route. Prior to that, however, we had a lovely hike.
