I Really Enjoyed My Stay at Mount Shasta Inn & Suites My first impression of the room, a King Suite, was great. Beautifully prepared and clean, really spacious. I used the extra space in the sitting area frequently for reading and computer work. The room was quiet all four days I stayed there; and having a nice view of the mountain from my room was something really special. The hotel's cleaning service was excellent, and that is much appreciated. The front office was very pleasant at check-in, and I appreciated the quick key-drop check-out All in all, and in every detail, I really enjoyed my stay there. I’ll be back.

Clean and convenient. A good place to sleep. Inexpensive so don't expect any frills. Shampoo but no conditioner or lotion. Shower head needs replacement. Met basic needs.

You cannot beat the price of this hotel. It's just a clean place to sleep at nothing more nothing less. After reading reviews of this property I can say that I received an okay experience from the managers. It was nice that they called before checking in to warn us of the area basically being closed after 9 (we were planning on checking in late). The rooms were fairly large and spacious feeling. However, the bathroom layout was pretty bad, the doors hit the seat and the light switch is on the outside of the room. I do believe that a staff member just stuffed tissues into the built in tissue box instead of replacing it (one tissue was blue then the other white then back to blue again all crumpled). The managers of the hotel seemed to be very careful with who comes in and out of their property by taking down license plates and asking if you're leaving for the day in the morning. They do no have any amenities and their hours are basically 3pm - 10pm as listed on their office door and if you're out of those hours you might be out of luck. I would like to say that their wireless routers are all outside the rooms and plugged into an outlet outside with no added security or protection (just makes me afraid to connect to it). Don't expect anyone to go above and beyond during your stay. It was very average and deserves an average rating.

I would absolutely NOT recommend staying here. You can read my review and the many other negative reviews of this hotel as proof, but I'd suggest saving yourself the time and effort and staying at one of the many other hotels in this town. This hotel has the absolute worst customer service I've ever seen at a hotel or motel. The quality of the rooms is an afterthought; the service is so poor here that this aspect alone makes me discourage anyone from staying here. This hotel has some of the strangest and most specific policies of anywhere I've ever stayed. The owners heavily monitor the guests, to the point of calling our room the second we have a friend visit to inquire why we have an extra person in our room. We were also charged a $20 deposit that was not written anywhere and is not charged to all guests. The owners stated they charged this deposit because of how we looked, basically admitting to profiling us and being suspicious of us "trashing" the room. I have never been treated so poorly by any hotel anywhere. The owners repeatedly argued with us about their policies and made no effort to work with us, their customers, or provide quality customer service during our stay. The owner repeatedly stated his focus was to "protect his property" and this sentiment is reflected his poor treatment of his customers.

We stayed in room 219 and had a great experience. The owners are Indians and were very welcoming and friendly (they offered us free Tea and snacks in the morning). The rooms were spacious and clean, beds were very comfortable, and the AC kept the room chilled (it was 97 degree farenheit outside). There is ample parking space. The rooms have a microwave, a refrigerator and 2 TVs if you care. The WiFi was slow. The only thing I didn't like was the check-in time. It was listed as 3 pm, and there's no option to change it (though we reached at 2:30 pm and were allowed to check-in). We drove overnight and would have preferred a place that allowed early morning check-ins. Strictly no pets allowed at this place. There are also lots of places to eat nearby, but everything in the town closes by 9:30 pm. Overall a great stay for the price we paid.
