I had an excellent experience with the Murray recorders office. The lady who helped me out was professional, helpful, and friendly. I doubt that I will need the same services again, but if I did, I see no reason to go elsewhere.

I have never dealt with someone so unprofessional and rude in my life. I work in a professional environment and if any of our staff treated someone as Andrea did they would be fired. Is this really the kind of service my tax dollars are paying for??? The phone message states "the recorders office is open until 4". We walked in at 4:01 and in the most rude and snotty voice she told us we need to be there at 3:45 to finish it. CONTRARY to what the message said. I commented that it was only 1 minute late and she said, "well, even if it's one minute, it's still after 4:00 I've closed my batch out!!" How long does it take to close a batch out? Clearly you started before your 4 pm close time. I recognize that we were one minute late but when your job is customer service shouldn't you want to serve and help those you serve versus be incredibly rude and obstinate about one minute. Whatever happened to going a little above and beyond to help those you serve? I must say in ALL my dealings with Murray City employees over the years I have been nothing but impressed. I'm so disgusted that my tax dollars are paying for someone so lacking in customer service skills. Considering the rating is a 2.5 with one positive review there are issues to be adressed.

The woman we talked to was no help at all, and super rude. She answered any questions with hostility and was very condescending.

I agree with the other reviews that the staff wasn't very pleasant at first, but they did help. I thought my birth certificate was lost after I went, and called. The lady called back and was nice, telling me the gov needed it and would send it back to me (which they did) . However, the passport picture they took was rejected by the government because it was blurry and not high quality enough. Save time by going to FedEx and getting your passport photo there.

Lady has an attitude, i never want to go back ever. i went there twice i didn't see her be nice. she wants no one to go there back again.
