I am very disappointed in the response time of Murrieta PD.  Called today about a woman who was screaming continuously for about 10 minutes.  All of the neighbors were outside.  It is well known in law enforcement that domestic call are the most dangerous.  It took 15 minutes for an officer to finally arrive.  All the while the screaming continues.  While that doesn't seem very long it's an eternity if your SO gets all stabby.  I literally live within an 11 minute walk from Murrieta PD.  I hope to God that if I have a critical emergency that the response time will be a little better.  A person should have a sense comfort living within a half a mile of PD, Fire, and City hall.  This should be the safest place in town.  If you cannot make the people closest to you feel safe.  What are you even doing?  ***btw being in the military I support law enforcement however, that does not make them immune to criticism***  Stay Safe.  ***edited this from 1 to 3 stars because I was pissed at the time and I support law enforcement***

I just had my livescan in Murrieta police in townsquare today. The sheriff that helped me is really really patient & knows what shes doing. I salut her for her time, patience & knowledge in scanning my difficult finger prints👍  Kudos Sheriff Ross!!!! Also the rolling fingers fee should be more than $20 from the effort & patience she puts to the job. This is an example of an excellent service that no matter what your responsibilty is if you give your best, it matters most to the customers. Thank you Sheriff Ross🙏🙏🙏

Don't want to say anything that will get me in trouble. Just wanted to do what is required of me and they make things near impossible.

My father called to make a report on a runaway (15 year old sister) and was told it was a low priority as running away is not a crime and for my dad to go the place in which is “supposedly staying” and pick her up. We don’t know if she’s at the address isn’t it the police departments responsibility to follow up on a call? I can’t believe it. We are trying to make sure my sister is safe but I don’t think we have to go to a stranger’s home (whom could own weapons, etc.) and risk further safety issues to arise. I’m astonished.
