The museum had the dinosaurs in motion exhibit and it was awesome. My 5 year old loved all of the interactive displays. Unfortunately it's only there for a few more weeks but if you read this review in a timely manner I recommend checking it out with your little ones. They'll love it and so will the parents! Remember to tell the cashier you're an Idaho resident to get a discount on your admission. If this review was helpful please give it a "like".

The exhibits are well laid out. I enjoyed the interactive nature of many of the exhibits. I also enjoyed the way they related scientific and physical principles to the motions and workings of the dinosaurs. There were lots of things for kids as well as adults. And every station there was a play table with related toys.

For a small museum this place was awesome. They had a lot of hands on activities which really got kids excited to keep learning. They have a display they keep up for a few months then change it up. It is handicap friendly south plenty of ramps to navigate.

Went and visited the new dinosaur exhibit. Our kids thought it was pretty cool (ages 2 and 5). They like to move the dinosaurs but I think they quickly got bored with it... It was fun though. Lots of intricate work was put into those! Great information about the builder as well! Great for a 1 time visit in my opinion.

Great community resource. I'm always impressed with the exhibits that they showcase. My family has an annual pass to the museum which more than worth the price. Over the years, I've gone to probably around 15-20 different exhibits. I'm always impressed by the size of the exhibits and the quality. The museum is not very big, especially when you factor in all of the standard exhibits that never change. They always seem to pack a ton of stuff in. In recent years, the museum has seemed to have fewer and fewer historical exhibits and more science exhibits based in a historical context. Like machines in Rome, Space, this also includes the current (2018) Dinosaurs in motion. I am an Asian historian and would love for the museum to get more strictly historical exhibits. I understand that maybe they are not as "fun," but the museum has always done a good job of making history come alive for children and adults alike. That being said, no matter the exhibits, my family love going here on a regular basis. It will be nice when the new addition is finished and we can hopefully get even more prestigious exhibits coming to our little corner of the world.
