I will go back! Very yummy home-cookin' style place. The proprietor greets everyone as they come in with, "dining in or taking out?" I dined in. It wasn't crowded as you can see from my photos. I liked the vibe at this neighborhood, eclectic, laid-back restaurant. If you want coffee, you get it yourself from the coffee bar (and get to choose your own mug from a hundred or so in cabinets on the wall). The hash browns had delicious seasoning and the egg-n-cheese bagel sandwich was buttery and scrumptious. Oh, and they play Motown hits from the '60s-'80s! My Coffee Shop will likely become one of my favorite places in Atlanta.

Great Basil Green health smoothie.  Location needs a major structural investment.  Great breakfast I hear.   Down home cozy no frills feel.

It's truly amazing being able to support small black businesses in my community. I am a regular here and I am always pleased with my food, service, and beverages. The basil lemonade is incredible. The breakfast sandwiches re so yum. I do wish their table side service was a little better - but overall, a wonderful place for a quick bite.

Each visit to this special place, I learn something new about my tastebuds every time. I enjoy the energy of all the guests and delightful conversations with the staff. The food is delicious and very good portions, I always leave with leftovers. But, that refreshing “Amazing Basil Lemonade” next visit I will have a mother/daughter day with my 24 year old. It takes me back to our tea dates with other moms and their little girls. I hope my daughter will recapture those fond memories too! A great place to make new memories too.
