Mellow Mushroom is proud to serve Decatur with delicious pizza, hoagies, calzones and salads. Providing quality food since 1974, we use fresh ingredients on all our menu items. Best MM in Atlanta. Besides the great menu the set-up and inside/outside bar issuper cool. Servers are friendly and will help you pick a great pie and brew. Only wish it was closer to my house!

After reading all the great reviews my friends and I decided not to drive to the Northlake shop as we live in Avondale but to come to Decatur that less than 3 miles away on 8-25-2017 pm. But despite our love for the food we did not have the greatest dining experience . The place was so noisy that we had to shout across the table to talk and hear each other ( tons of kids screaming and over all volume of the place was deafening. And to top it all off we ate our pies and as we were leaving the server Liz ran out the place behind us to say we shorted her the total bill less 20 dollars but not including her tip. We will continue as we are seniors to go to MM but never this one. C A U T I O N make sure the severs has the money before you leave the place otherwise it' s your word against theirs. I was appalled and unsulted and pissed off. .

Pizza was good. Server was great. They forgot to add fresh basil and not only did she catch it but the cook came out after realizing it wasn't there. Loud interior as other reviewers said. We would have liked to sit outside but the patio was full. Hostess was impersonal and akward.

The food it great but it is the loudest restaurant I've ever been to that didn't have live music playing at the time. I've consistently had trouble hearing my waiter over the music. I also came for trivia on Tuesday, and our waiter was less than great. He cashed us out immediately after we ordered, despite the fact that he knew we were staying for the 2+ hours of trivia. When we asked him to please add a dessert to our tab, he was visibly displeased. He also never refilled my drink over the whole period. TL;DR: tasty food, loud restaurant, wildly differing service.
