I am a person that don't know much about a heating unit. My home warranty sent Myers Comfort out to my house. I was without heat for over a month after 4 so call techs came out to my house. Long story short never take an upgrade that they offer on a home warranty. They say they are giving you a discount but it's really away for them to make more money off the customer. I feel that the tech damaged my unit from the start of this nightmare. Here's what I mean: " Tech Chris told me on his last visit my work would cost 1275.00 and we make can give you some type of discount" Well here is the quote he sent me. 2475.00 for the job with a 1000.00 discount which comes back to same amount that he started from. One thing I do is remember what you say and if you are a liar you need to write things down so you can go back to what you said at the beginning of a conversation. Do I trust this company. NO.

"I wanted to click all the marks, but it would not let me. Myers has an excellent staff, from the sweet lady on the phone helping me understand everything, to the guy that check my issues, and to the 2 great guys that completed the job. I was dealt with respect and understanding to the questions that I had dealing with my AC/Heat going out. There is not other company in the Birmingham area that I would recommend more."

Timeliness] I was very pleased with the quick response to my service call within a few hours some came out. The technician diagnosed the problem and was trying to get part the same day but unsuccessful. The part was obtained the next morning and was fixed before 1pm..thanks for a speedy response. "

NEVER NEVER NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I am trying to reach out to the owner of Myers Comfort Specialist so they are aware of the treatment I have had by the staff at Myers since last Thursday. This was a horrible horrible experience. I have American Home Shield and have used their suppliers for services over the years on several properties I have. This by far has been the worst experience I have ever had. A technician came to my house on 1-12-18 and found that my fan to my gas furnace was not working and labelled the work order as no heat. We went through the entire weekend with no heat expecting it would be fixed on Monday. MLK Day was Monday but I would have assumed that people without heat would be a priority but I called anyway and never heard back. Tuesday comes around and we are in low teen digits temperature wise with a threat of snow to our area. I spoke with someone at the office who explained to me that they just got the work orders since they did not work over the weekend and Monday was MLK Day and she could not help that the order for the part was not going to be put in until that day. Wednesday I called back and left 2 messages with the answering service with no return call at all, they said the power was out. Today, Thursday, one week after my heat went out I called again. The woman who answered the phone said they were waiting for American Home Shield to get back with them about the part. I told her I would call her back if I needed her. I called another heating service in Birmingham and they did not have the part in stock so I called Myers Back and the woman that I spoke with Crystal said that our part had not been ordered because I had cancelled the order. I told her that i never cancelled the order and the part was supposed to be ordered on Tuesday. She said “Well, I am sorry but I don’t know when your part will be here”. She was extremely rude and flippant about the fact that I have been without heat for 1 week in well below freezing temperatures. I explained to her that our pipes had frozen last night and that we have 4 children in a house with no heat. Once again, she said “I don’t know when your part will be in”. I demanded that I speak with the owner of the company so I could explain to him how rude and disrespectful the people are that represent his company. Of course no one called me back so I left another message with the Montgomery office to get in touch with the owner and still no phone call. After I got off the phone with Crystal I google searched the fan needed and called a supplier in Birmingham, went and bought the part for $221 and brought it to my husband and he put the part in. I am appalled and beyond livid that a company would treat people this way. I can honestly say that I have never in my life been treated so poorly by someone in the service industry, especially when it comes to being without heat in below freezing temperatures. Now that I have heat I cancelled my order from American Home Shield and made a formal complaint to them. I will now post a review online about Myers Comfort Specialist in order to work future customers from making the same mistake I did.

Very professional and took lots of time to explain the installation process. Kacey and Justin were our installation team and they were awesome. Chris Romine was also great at providing us with options and quotes, as well as product specs and info to look at to help us choose the right unit. I highly recommend using this company.
