Wonderful at both stores. Had recently bought a small handbag to travel with and the strap was coming loose. I looked up the closest shoe repair shop. The first store would not be able to do it before I left the area so the owner and his son directed me to his store in North Mrytle Beach. They even called ahead. The Lady was able to repair it on the spot. They were very helpful and kind.

Mr. Vitali is the beat cobbler I've ever met!!! I always take my riding boots to him for a custom fit and I've never been dissappointed!!! A little pricey but ABSOLUTELY worth the money. Highly recommend

Very bad customer service I would never buy anything from this business again I have purchased about 6 pair mens shoes Johnson & Murphy @ 65.00 a pop over the last few years . I took a pair back to have polished & ask to drop them off they demanded that I pay 10.00 up front ,after all the business I have gave them .

This shop was recommended by a friend of mine. He would use them to repair his shoes and was always very pleased. So when my wife purchased a very unique old leather purse that was tearing where the strap was anchored I knew right where I was going to take it for repair. The owner told me he would have to cut the purse at the where the strap met and attach two new pieces of leather to do it right and make it strong. Then he told me the price, which made me pause. He said don't worry, I will recondition the rest of the bag and you will be very pleased. He said it was a quality bag that you don't see much of anymore. That, coupled with my friends recommendation led me to proceed. When I went back to pick up the purse my wife and I were very dissapointed. What once was a natural brown leather purse now looked like it had an orange varnish painted on. The leather that was added to reinforce the straps was very thin in comparison and had a much cheaper and shiny plastic look to it. The stiching was very dark and matched nothing on the rest of the bag. He took a very unique natural looking leather bag and turned it into a cheap orange plastic looking bag you might expect to buy off the shelf at walmart. Maybe shoes are in his wheelhouse, but if you have something else that requires a bit of an artistic touch I would encourage you to look elsewhere. I normally do not leave reviews but when I shared these concerns with him, he told me that it was a good job and that I should like it. I was left with a orange purse, lost money, and no options.

The service at Star boots was absolutely amazing. He was able to do a two tip repair putting toe caps on two pairs of snip toe boots that nobody else in Myrtle Beach could do. Not only did he do it within two hours but he was a very nice and knowledgeable person of the area. I would recommend anybody to deal with Star Boots! Kat 🐱🐱🐱
