Tucked way in the back of a tiny strip mall this Korean dumpling place was really good! We will be back. We ordered way too much food. The pork buns were as big as a fist! My husband loved the fried chicken. The short rib soup was mild and delicious.
Well made food that was brought out at the correct times with good texture and simplicity. This was an absolute gem. The portions were awesome, but the most important thing about this place is how much flavor is in each item. The menu is simple with the offerings of bao, fried rice, dumplings, etc, BUT each thing came out so delicate and warm and when paired with the kimchi, which had this nice umami, excellent. Super recommend for an outing with the family or just finding a great hole in the wall with well made food.
Wow! This place was amazing! Seriously delicious food. We got the soy garlic chicken and dumplings. All the dumplings here are so different but so so good! The people here are so nice and attentive. Amazing service! We will definitely be returning and recommending this place to others.
Very good dumplings. The dumplings were very filling and delicious. My favorite was the king dumplings. They bread was really soft and I loved the mushrooms they put in it. My friends also really enjoyed the fried chicken. Definitely check it out if you’re in the area
It’s a dumpling restaurant, but #1 on the menu-king dumpling was just mediocre, average at best. I can find this quality dumplings at Asian stores. And why do they have so many chicken options on the menu? This place didn’t make any sense. We ordered both dumplings and half and half chicken just to see both dishes and I was not impressed by both dishes. I think they need to get rid of the chicken. If you want to keep this many chicken options on the menu you might as well rename your restaurant name to a myungin chicken. Please stop adding new Korean dishes, i.e., beef short rib soup for 17.99. Again, you are a dumpling place. First of all, do dumplings well and then perhaps expand further.
First time eating here we will most likely come back. We only tried the boiled pork and veggie dumpling and it was just okay. Next time, I will try one with shrimp in the ingredientsfñ. Everything we tried was tasty. My favorite was the soy garlic chicken; crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside, and it had just a hint of sweetness. Vegetarian options: I don't think there were too many vegetarian options. Parking: Free parking but could be crowded depending on the time of day. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp at the front door and lots of spacing between tables.
The sweet and sour fried chicken was fantastic: a delightfully crispy crunch, tender juicy meat, and a tasty sticky sauce. The dumplings were also great, plump with filling.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
This is one of my go-to spots for Korean food in Federal Way. The King Dumplings are eye-catching on the menu and are impressively big. But, while they didn't taste bad, I thought they were just ok. The smaller dumplings, in our case the pork/shrimp dumplings were much more flavorful. We also ordered the soy garlic chicken, fried rice and Short Rib soup which were all delicious. I'm Korean, originally from the East Coast, and that short rib soup took me home.
The food here are delicious! The kimchi steam dumplings look small in the menu picture but it's pretty big, similar size to a bao. Kang Jung boneless fried chicken was very crispy, the sauce was sweet and spicy. The spicy steam rolls and the banchan were yummy as well.
A friend recommended this place for the huge dumplings and fried chicken. Tried the huge pork and vegetable dumplings, and sweet and spicy fried chicken. Dumplings were perfect, sauce was good that came with it. Fried chicken skin was perfect, I am not usually a fan of sauces on fried chicken, but it was still delicious. Next time I will try just the regular fried chicken, it was cooked to perfection, and I love the light breading and perfect amount of crispy. I brought the leftovers to my wife, she loved them both as well. Just moved to the area, so we will definitely be back!
