Best Kimchi and Korean traditional side dishes in Pacific NW region!

We are over 2 hours drive way but drive up to federal way every other month to get kimchi from Banchan! Best kimchi place ever!!! I now cant eat kimchi anywhere else. IV become so picky! There soy beef is so good two! I love the lady that works and runs this store as well. She is always so sweet!

The prices are decent. The food is good although they do not try to mask the fact they use msg very much. But that's what makes it tastes so good, so I can't knock them down too much for that. However, I did take off one star because they lack a bit of variety in that the side dishes change very slowly. If u come in every week, there isn't going to be much change. Maybe in like about 6 weeks but even then, most of the dishes are the same.  Nevertheless, very good tasting food for a decent price. Whether it be good for you.... May be a different story.

Really would drive out of the way during summer vacation to seek out this Korean side dish specialty Grocer located in Federal Way,WA!  AMAZING!  Note each chef's kimchi tastes different uniquely to the maker.  Amazing place for healthy wholistic side dishes to enjoy with your bowl of rice or your steak.

Great bracken fern and root banchan.  I was not as much a fan of the kimchee or the parilla leaves but over all amazing place!  I wish it were closer and I would come here every week.

This place is terrible coming from a Korean family. We spent a lot of money  this place is expensive  and got a lot of banchans and it was all extremely salty and we threw out 2 of them. It was disgusting, almost inedible.

A little secret in fed way.  If you appreciate ancestral foods, you will always find a taste of Korea here.

The Korean side dish store. Some of their products are pretty good.

Shop here every 3, always seems to be fresh.

Food is delicious but it is way too much overpriced for sure
