I have to say that everything I have tried here is absolutely amazing and delectable.  I think it's that everything is super fresh and just the right ingredients are used.  Staff is very friendly and the food comes out fast.

I normally like this place. I had been going here for lunch for awhile. The food has been a little worse recently though still good. Maybe they changed cooks and are adjusting. 

I worked in the restaurant biz as a kid and through college. So I am sympathetic to things that go on. I am easy to wait on. I eat basically the same thing when I come here so the staff staff knows what I am getting. I tip $5 on my $12 lunch. I come after The lunch rush and I eat and go fairly quickly. 
When I worked I'd say that's an good customer. Regulars that easy and don't need much attention and tip 40% are what you want. And you take care of them. 

Today (7/31/17) I was running late and got there right before 3 (like 2:58). I sat down and the waitress (who waits on me all the time) yells over "lunch is over at 3". I showed her the time. 3:00. Not 3:05. It was 2:59 while she was wandering my way. Nope. No lunch for me. "Seriously you are going to get rid of a good customer over this?"
Yes we are. 

So I left. 

If that's how you treat really good customers, who tip well and bring other people out to eat at your place then I'd prefer to spend my money elsewhere. It annoyed me enough to write a review and I rarely write reviews. (And when I do they are positive). 
If I owned this place I would not want this kind of unnecessary aggravation and loss of business. And mostly I am posting this for their benefit. One person writing a review probably means their are lots who had a bad experience and did not bother and just won't be back.

Great food. I love this restaurant. The food and service are of excellent quality.  I highly recommend it.

Delivery was extremely fast when online ordering. Not a fan of their miso soup(all broth), but sushi was ok. Unfortunately,  I misread menu and wanted eel sauce on top of California roll, I got cut up eel on my sushi.  Thanks, but no thanks. :(
