My son entered 5th grade this year so far I'm liking the school the reason why I gave it 4 stars is because they only want they students to wear solid black shoes and the nice black shoes are very high and the cheap black shoes are not very good looking I understand the school shirts they high but they have a store that sells them and black jeans because it's easy to find black jeans but I just don't agree with the shoes but overall so far so good at the school. This is the worst school I've ever encounters. It is worst than Drexel. This school principle is snake. She and her staff questioned my son in a room alone accusing him of things he didn't do. Made him write out a statement with someone feeding him words. He complained to his teacher but the teacher ignored him. 3 girls kept kicking him and hitting him and nothing was done. He was bullied and when he attempted to defend himself the principle accused him of touching these 3 students(he did not). My son over heard one of the girls parents after they were told, who is he, where is he, what does he look like, where does he live? I asked to see the class room recording of the incidents all of a sudden the camara in this class wasn't working. He did the right thing told the teacher and nothing was done. My other son was jumped by a kid with anger issues until he bleed. The camara worked on this one and the teachers describe the fight as brutal. My son did nothing to provoke this on himself that bully of a kid was angry and picked a weak link. Where was the teacher while this student beat my son in the head. They still tried to suspend him for 1 day. When i asked why the gave him 1 day in school suspension. The school's principle Thrope is her name,  is an arrogant ass and does not listen she does not support the parents. She blamed The first suspension on me saying I refused to meet with the parents of The 3 girls and The girls and asked these girls direct questions regarding what happens all on The same call I found out about it. The teacher that was involved in the first incident nothing happened and they claim it went on for 6 weeks. I requested to meet with all parties after I found out what happend, she never got back to me. I had to request my kids be moved to completely different rooms. Now today I received yet another call my first son gets in trouble for defending a girls honor... he pushed a boy who attacked another female student. My kids are afraid of what will happen next.and now are confused on what The right thing to do is. The report cards and paychecks are never right. I'm filing a complaint  with the school board and with the board of directors. This school is absolutely the worst decision I've ever mad for my kids. Oh h stop with all the testing and teach!! I'm tired of buying books from eBay attempting to do it myself. I don't get paid to teach. I can assist and back up the lesson but not start from scratch on everything!!
