Last year, I started using Nashville Cat Clinic as the primary vet for my Maine coon mix. Previously living in a small town, I've never had the best experiences with vets, but NCC blew me away. My experience from start to finish was great, and I honestly don’t have a single complaint. The entire staff are fantastic! They showed me and my cat true kindness and compassion. Dr. Waldrop was amazing, very thorough and attentive and answered all of my questions with patience. I was also impressed by the technology this practice utilizes. The location of the office may not be the most convenient for some Nashville residents, but it is definitely worth the drive. The whole office is beautiful, I would highly recommend the Nashville Cat Clinic to any cat owners in middle TN!

Yesterday was our first visit for my rescue kitten at Dr Waldrop office. The staff was wonderful. He was highly recommended. I will recommend him to anyone. This Baby Kane which is now Kane Jackson was sick and needed vetting fast. My appointment was the very next day. He examined him thoroughly. Took fluid from his abdomen and analysis it. We all know that sometimes the out come on this disease is not always good . I prayed to God the night before to just give me a glimmer of hope which Dr Waltrop did. Prayers answered. I will continue with treatment from Dr Waltrop and prayers. I want my little buddy to be with me a long time. Last night he was better and even growled at Another cat. He has played like a kitten should. Through Dr Walthrop and staff you have given me hope. For that I will be forever be grateful. I drove an 1 1/2 hours to get to the Nashville Cat Clinic for Kane's appointment. Well worth the drive. I can't thank you enough. We will see you next Tuesday. Merry Christmas 💞🐱💞

Staff is very friendly and nice....the vet Dr is so very kind and patient. He took the time to educate me and show me how to give my kitten her medicine without the struggle.

Update: I waited all morning to get a call back about my cat, who is sneezing blood. When four hours had passed, I scheduled an appointment with a different vet and decided to post this review. Within 15 minutes of posting, someone from their office called to try to get me to take it down. When I declined to apologize for my honesty, the person on the phone said “well I guess this wasn’t an emergency after all!” And hung up on me. The fact that they won’t call back regarding their patient’s health, but will respond in real time to negative reviews, tells you everything you could possibly need to know about their priorities. I DEEPLY regret bringing my cats here. I brought in two perfectly healthy cats a week ago for vaccines and a yearly check up. Hours after I brought them home, my cat lost his appetite and became lethargic. He seemed to recover the next day, so I chalked it up to a bad reaction to a vaccine, but shortly after that he started sneezing. Now he’s sneezing BLOOD and not only can I not get anyone to call me back, but when I do call, the woman that I talk to is super rude. She said that I could make an appointment to bring my cat in this morning, which seems weird - if the vet doesn’t have time to return a call, why would they have time for a new appointment? I had my husband call and they gave him a totally different answer - saying that our doctor isn’t in today, and that we’ll have to wait until tomorrow. So first they made my cat sick and don’t care at all about it, then they were rude and lied to me. Considering that I paid over $300 for a basic checkup, I would think that they would care about keeping my cat healthy, or at the very least, keeping my business. Guess not. I’ll be making an appointment for my cat to see a different vet tomorrow, and I will continue to post reviews and warn everyone that I know. I filled out my own paperwork prior to the appointment, but somehow they managed to spell my last name wrong and get both of my cats’ ages wrong in their system. They clearly just don’t care. They ran unnecessary EKG’s on both cats, didn’t even get any results for one of them, but charged us $50 each. Another thing worth noting is that this office is still more than happy to do declaw surgeries, even though everyone knows that it is not in the best interest of the animal, and is essentially abusive. If you want a cat without claws, you don’t deserve to own a cat.

I am so impressed by Dr. Waldrop and staff. Dr. Waldrop took his time with the exam and patiently answered all of my questions. He personally called with the results of my cat's blood work and again talked through any questions I had. I am so happy I found this place and highly recommend to anyone looking for a vet!
