The Nashville Pet Emergency Clinics seek to provide quality and compassionate emergency veterinary when you need us the most.

Serving pet owners and veterinarians since 1976, we offer convenient after hours emergent and urgent care for your pets. We coordinate care with your regular veterinarian so that you remain in control of your pets health.
We have three convenient, AAHA accredited, state of the art faclities.

We are located in NASHVILLE on 12th Avenue South, RIVERGATE at 910 Meadlowlark Lane, and MURFREESBORO at 2223 NW Broad Street.

I brought my dog there with complications of a UTI and blockage to the point she couldn't pass any urine. I found the staff including the vet to be very caring and professional. They discussed several options to help her overnight until I could take her to her regular vet. They did discuss cost but presented so I could make an informed choice. I found them to be very helpful and informative regarding follow up care and things I should address with my regular vet. I highly recommend them

The staff was nice but never again will I trust this place after taking 2 animals they both checked out ok and ended up dying one of the 2 weeks later and the other the same day over $1600.00 for both my babies to see them suffer

Our Boston Terrier had tore out one nail after getting it stuck in a chain link fence. The nail was being held on by skin. We attempted to stop the bleeding with a towel. We arrived at the clinic for emergency care unfortunately for us, our regular vet was closed . We wait at least 5-6 minutes before someone even came out to assess him well we were trying our best to stop the bleeding. It wasn't until about 10 minutes did someone finally come out and offered to bandage the foot until the vet could see him. Staff eventually got to us and wanted an $85.00 payment, ok no problem but then we waited for at least 25-30 minutes before we were even seen. The vet (I'm assuming) spent 2-3 minutes with us and said he would take him in the back and they will not be administering any anesthetic because they will just quickly pull the nail off. When he took Hopper into the back the same woman that charged us originally came in with a pt. treatment plan and what the costs were for that. What did I just pay $85.00 for? Just to get in the office. I was not about to argue then so the next thing I heard was Hopper yipping in the back. The did not even given him a topical anesthetic, how compassionate. Too bad it wasn't their toe nail someone ripped off. The bill was another $90.00 and $50.00 of it was a bandage, really. A bandage, $50.00. So understand from this pet lover and father of 4 dogs. I HOPE I NEVER HAVE TO USE THIS PLACE AGAIN. IT WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I also believe they took advantage of the situation which is unfortunate for them. We do have 4 dogs and have many friends. I will make sure as many people understand that this place should be your last option. DO not bring your pets here for great care because we did not get it. We paid their fee and got horrible customer service and even less in compassionate care.

Great and caring staff! Our dog had food bloat when we brought her in. They gave us all the options and let us think through them. They had to put her under anesthesia for her procedure but they called as soon as it was over to tell us how it went. They even let us come back and love on her afterwards. They had to keep our Journey overnight but they loved on her just like she was at home. We are so grateful to everyone that helped us. Thank you Dr. Phelps and staff!!
