My family and I love going here, there are plenty of things to do. The campgrounds, trails, lakes, and local attractions are all wonderful. We've both camped on the grounds and rented the cabins. The cabins are simple but the outdoors are amazing and the lakes are awesome. This is a great, affordable place to go with some pals. I love this place.

I hiked the Cub Lake Trail today it was fantastic. The trails are well-kept Fallen trees were cut it was a great day to be out. I met two of the rangers they were very nice very helpful. I can't wait to go back in the summer and went one of the cabins and ride on the paddle boats.

They have camping, fishing, hiking, and 50000 Acres of the most beautiful and pristine Forest in West Tennessee. Park staff are friendly and helpful and the amenities are first-rate. I recommend this park as your vacation destination or for a quick day trip with the kids.

We love Tennessee. The land and foilage is great. Middle TN is one of our favorite places. Pin oak lake is beautiful. Once we used Natchez Trace as a base camp as we searched for land and homes to buy in Middle Tn.

The park has great trails. There are muddy places especially after a rain, largely due to a horse problem. They have designated trails for horses and their riders but apparently "horses can't read". The horses are leaving deep ruts and mud holes on the hiking only, Read Leaves Trail. Otherwise lovely! My kids and I had a blast. The staff at the visitor center is most helpful but only available M-F. This means the bathrooms are unavailable on weekends at the visitor center where the trail head is located.
