My family experienced a sudden loss of our mother. There were many answers that were not answered by the hospital and we had concerns about her care at the hospital as well. The main issue was that we did not understand why her death occurred so suddenly mainly because she was improving and getting better. We had no real understanding of how to get a private autopsy or where to start. We contacted National Autopsy Services and they no only guided us, but answered all of our initial questions up front, which made us feel very comfortable with their services. The transition of signing all the paperwork to having their team come to the local funeral home to the initial phone call to discuss the preliminary findings was an easy one. We also had no problems with them keeping us up to date as to the progress of the final report. They also explained that with the tests we ordered, the results could take more than 3 months to get back. Once the results were in, the final results were sent promptly and we were able to set up a family conference call to discuss the results. Having had the conference call, we all walked away knowing why our mother died suddenly, we understood that the hospital did nothing wrong and that her death was natural and one that no one could have prevented and finally, since we also ordered a detailed brain exam we understood our mother's neurological disease states and that her issues were more a natural disease process then a genetic process. National Autopsy Services took a difficult situation and directed their efforts on the task of finding out what happened and finding out the answers to our detailed questions which allowed us to focus on grieving. This took a hug burden off of our shoulders and for this we will be forever thankful to National Autopsy Services and their team. Finally, their team is made up of some of the brightest minds in medicine and pathology out there. We also found out that their organization is connected with some of the top research institutions, such as Harvard and Stanford, of which was involved with our mothers neurological testing which gave us much needed answers to questions we had since she was alive 20 years ago. Our family highly recommends National Autopsy Services. They will take you by your hand and guide you ever step of the way. Not only that, they will comfort you, pray for you, and show compassion all along the way. They are people who understand families are people and that loved ones who have passed, are also people who loved and will always be loved, even if in memory.

Hired to conduct a limited autopsy on 08 Feb 2017. As of today, 5 July 2017, I still have not seen the hard copy report. He refused to refund my money, I had to go through the credit card fraud department to get my money back. He could not refute the fraud and did not challenge it. He will likely spin this as he gave me my money back, simply not true. He will also state he sent me a report. I did receive an emailed report, however, I gave him the requirements prior to the autopsy and it clearly stated original or certified copy had to be submitted. His dealings are shady, is kindly stating it. Run from him quickly as he will make a ton of excuses and not produce anything. You only get one chance for an autopsy, sadly we blew ours by using this dubious company.
