This place has gone down hill. The restaurant is out of business. The swimming pool is dirty. No heated pool like previous time we stayed. Customer service was bad at the front lobby when checking in. As for the bar. Customer service was great. Stay away from room 302. Ghost inside

Hotel is decent, still nice. Stayed in a painted room with the romance package. You have to ask for your strawberries and champagne? Or else they'll "forget." Rooms don't have fridge nor microwaves. You have to ask to have your room cleaned and they don't tell you that? There's no free breakfast. There's only one elevator. The staff is very nice though which makes it hard to complain.

We chose this business to support local businesses and it looked absolutely beautiful online. They market all their hand-painted rooms but "forget" to mention the only 80% of their rooms being as barren and plain as the desert around ABQ. We checked in and there was food on the heater/AC from the last guest. The toilet consistently had trouble flushing. The bed sheets were the wrong kind - instead of the stretchy kind (fitted) that hold onto your mattress, they use the flat one so it slides off when you move around while sleeping and reveal the mattress. Even better? The entire side of our mattress was ripped off! Housekeeping didn't come until past 6:30 PM when we had been out ALL DAY and just wanted to relax. I would absolutely never come back again.

Great room for the price. It's not super upscale, but I gave it 4 stars because it has comfy beds, charming Southwest decor, modern plumbing, free WiFi, excellent curtains that kept the light out, and everything worked. Everything looked new and well maintained

Being on the road for business is difficult at best but when you walk through the doors of the Nativo, the staff welcomes you by name, knows your room preferences and makes you feel welcome, you know you are welcome. I never stay anywhere else when I am in Albuquerque. Greg the chef, Tanya and Tony the bartenders and James the manager treat every guest with respect and that alone makes my time at Nativo a GREAT experience.
