I talked to Earl on the phone to set up an appointment, and he was really helpful in getting me set up with somebody to cut my hair who fits the style I wanted to go for. He set me up with Jen, and she did a great job. Jen actually listened to what I wanted (which I feel like rarely happens at hair places) and gave me her honest opinion on what she thought would and wouldn't work. The place is really inviting, and I felt right at home. Earl is hilarious and a really nice guy, and I really like how they aim to use all natural products and recycle EVERYTHING. All of this would be enough for me to recommend them to anybody, but the icing on the cake was how affordable it was. I got my hair cut for half the price as the fancy salon I used to go to, and it looks just as good if not better.

I have unruly, very, curly hair (3c/4a). Falynn and Earl took the time to listen and give honest and constructive criticism of what would look and work best for the type of cut I wanted and for my hair type. I showed them a picture on my phone of what I wanted it to look like and Falynn was able to do exactly that. I am super pleased with my cut. I have had awful experiences with salons in the past because they were always trying to push a treatment or product I didn't want or they would say they were familiar with curly hair when they had no clue. I haven't set foot in a salon in over 15 years because of my terrible experiences. Falynn set expectations and talked me throughout the whole cut. She explained how to care for and how to style it. Also, the salon doesn't reek of powerful chemical fumes or heavy fragrances. They use organic and natural products. The salon atmosphere was calm and inviting. I don't care that they are over 30 miles away from where I live - I now have a salon for life :)

Best hair style ever!  I brought in drawings of what I wanted my hair cut to look like. Earl was very thoughtful and took the time to explain my hair texture, and fit the cut to the texture. He is highly artistic and competent and I felt completely comfortable.

Looking for a great salon that will give you good hair without a lot of fuss?  Try Natural Fusion!  Earl, the owner, is highly friendly but also quite professional in his manner and instantly charms you when you walk in.  I had my first cut with Steve, who did a terrific job.  He was detailed, focused and very willing to try something new.  He's also friendly but keeps you in the salon just the right amount of time.  It's nice to see places like Natural Fusion thriving in Frederick! Great prices matched by impeccable service--I've found my new home!
