stars-1 star for being 1 of the 3 pet stores with aquatic retail. 1 star for having the worst customer service I have ever experienced from self owned retailer. I have gone to this establishment several times and I have purchased a few fish from them, but as others have said the prices are rediculous compared to DFW retailers or corporate retailers in WF like pet smart or petco (N.H Acre doesn’t have much more or better of a selection than petsmart/Petco. Petco I has informed me that anything they sell on their website they can have ordered and that they can possibly order other varieties of fish if their distributor has them available, just talk to anybody at petco. Back to customer service-I have been in NHA many times looking to buy fish, I have spent 15 minutes staring at fish while 3 employee either sit at a picnic table and ignore me and play with thier phone or they pretend to be doing work that is more important than tying to make a sale. It’s obviously not important to this company to treat customers with enough respect to offer to help them find something or ask if they’re looking for anything in particular. The people who work here act as if your only an important customer if they know your going to spend a lot of money there, but who in there right mind would spend a lot of money here when DFW isn’t far, you would save a lot more money, get a friendlier and more pleasant experience and go home with better quality products just going the distance to DFW rather than wasting your time or money or patients dealing with anyone at Nature’s Half Acre. Sorry guys, I tried to like your company but let’s face it-it sucks to even go in your store anymore, I drive 20 minutes to get there intending to buy something and I get stared at like I’m in the way of what y’all are or aren’t doing. This is the first review I’ve ever written, id want people to tell me that I suck so I could do a better job at running my business. Nothing personal, Its just sad to see a retailer not want to sell anything to customers.

Locally owned pet store. The people there are knowledgeable and helpful. It's a little out of the way and maybe a bit run down.  If there was a 3.5 rating I'd give it that because three is a little less than they deserve.

Couldn't find the animal, I was looking for. But when I finally did, I found their prices are a little too high at least for my taste.
