This is a pretty amazing place during the  Airshows. It is also an impressive base. Handing much of the West Coast F/A 18 squadrons.

Smh there are too many reasons as to why i hate this base. Going back to VA soon and NEVER coming out here again lol.

I have to agree with the review about health issues. We have always been a very healthy bunch, but this place is slowly killing us. It's also a bit of a spirit killer. We were excited to come here...the husband is always one to fill a hard to fill billet...however, we are learning that the Lemoore vacuum is a real thing. We were just told we would be doing another 2 years. :( There are a lot of things to do in the "area"...you just need the money and the time off to be able to go enjoy those things. So, great place for people who make lots of money and have lots of down time...neither of those apply to our younger enlisted families.

If I could give it no stars I would. Stinks like cow poop. Mostly because that's 90% of the air you're breathing. If you're in A school or another command and hear Lemoore, CA, don't say to yourself "oohh California." Not an appropriate response. This place is horrible. Google "valley fever" and/or "central valley of CA water quality" and let the results speak for themselves. You're welcome. 

P.S. why is it taking me an hour to drive the 14 miles to get from Lemoore to base? I'm most certainly not driving 14 mph. Could it be because the gate traffic is just that congested and they have 2 MAs to scan in a billion people? Yes. Yes it could.
