BEWARE OF THESE CRIMINALS!!!  As a white Miami born anglo man, I was discriminated against at this pharmacy today.  

After visiting the Minute Clinic my prescriptions were given to the pharmacy.  The Minute Clinic nurse was phenomenal!

Next I go to the pharmacy drop off window. The clerk could not communicate with me nor she could not even understand what she was reading nor could she determined that my middle initial of my name was not part of my last name.  I politely, yet very sick, tried to assist her.  She did not speak English.  I advised her that the information on file is old and need to update my address and phone number and showed her on the paper the updated information so she can easily type it in from the Minute Clinic paperwork.

As I was waiting for the prescriptions to be filled I called my insurance company to determine what my co-pay was going to be. Reading off of the actual paperwork from the clinic she told me that they are both listed as generic and there's no charge for either prescription.  

Finally almost an hour later my prescriptions were ready.  The cashier rang them up and it came to over $130.00!!  I explained to her that they are covered under my insurance as generics, as clearly listed on the bag, and she said "No".  I then proceeded to ask her if she spoke English and she denied. I asked for her to send somebody over to me that does speak English.  She had no clue what I was saying to her.  

Finally I had to interrupt another transaction for someone behind the counter that I heard was speaking English and ask them for somebody to please attend to me that can communicate with me that the price you're charging on my prescriptions is incorrect.  I then look up and see the cashier speaking to what I believe is a pharmacist. Not knowing I am watching them speak, he rolls his eyes, looks up, looks around, we make eye contact and he looks back down.  When I noticed him do this I walked back over in front of him and asked him if I could speak with him a moment, speaking to him in English, which he clearly ignored me.  I just stood there waiting for him to acknowledge me. Finally and rudely he said he will be with me when he gets done with what he's doing in his broken English.  I told him never mind, I will contact someone else. 

All of a sudden the initial cashier calls me back over and handed me the bag and JUST POINTS to swipe machine to sign.  With NO COPAY!!!  Also, with all of the OLD ADDRESS AND TELEPHONE INFORMATION!!!

Beware of these criminals they will over charge you.  I dare them to have billed the name brand to my insurance.  I will be watching for my explanation of benefits to confirm.

I AM GOING TO CONTINUE TO PURSUE THIS MATTER!!

If I could give this location 0 stars I would. I searched this location online and it stated that it closed at 7:30 PM. I drove 15 minutes there and arrived by 6:30 PM. When I tried to register through the kiosk it would not allow me to register. I took a seat and waited for the nurse to come out so that I could tell her the computer was not working. After waiting 20 minutes for her to open the door. She told me that the system would not accept my registration. Because they close at 7:30. I don’t understand why they would put false information on the website. If they stop seeing patients at 6:30 then It should state this on the website so that sick patients don’t waste their time driving over here before it closes. All in all I spend almost an hour to be turned away and end up in urgent care. And waiting over an hour to be seen.  All I needed was a strep test. I am very disappointed with this service and really think they should be more specific on their website.
