Story

Nearly New Resale Shop is a non-profit store that supports Noonan Elementary Academy, located in Mokena, IL. Nearly New opened its doors in May of 2009 in the hopes of providing a fun place for the community to shop and a source of income for our private school, which is supported 100% by the parents and guardians of the children that attend NEA.


MISSION STATEMENT:

Our mission is to provide moral and financial support to Noonan Academy where tomorrow's leaders are being spiritually and morally formed in the Catholic faith.


We offer new and nearly new items such as the following:

Children's Clothing, Women's Clothing, Men's Clothing, Shoes, Formal Attire, Accessories, Coats, Toys, Puzzles, Books, Games, Sporting Equipment, Furniture, Home Accessories, Lamps, Pictures, Picture Frames, Collectibles, Dishes, Glassware, Bakeware, Vases, Linens, Window Treatments, Small Appliances, and much, much more!

Items that we DO NOT carry: mattresses, cribs, and any items that would be unsanitary or unsafe to resell.

A few things to keep in mind:

•We are not able to give refunds or exchanges.
•We can only "hold" items until the end of the day.
•We are not able to deliver items.
•100% of the proceeds from Nearly New go to support Noonan Academy's students, staff, and teachers.


DONATE:

We are happy to receive donations when the store is open. You can bring them through the front door any time. We can't accept computers, mattresses, cribs, and other items that either we can't test to make sure they work or that may be unsanitary or unsafe to resell. We appreciate all items that are in new or nearly new (gently used) condition.

We don't offer consignment, all items are donation only. However, we can give you a tax receipt for your donations.

If you have larger items (such as furniture pieces) and you don't have a large truck and/or strong people to move your furniture, not to worry, we'll come pick it up. Just call the store and ask for a manager, she'll be happy to help you. We ask for your patience as she'll need to coordinate a pick up date with our volunteers, who happen to be dads with children at Noonan Academy. But we are typically able to pick up items on a weekly basis.

STAFF:

Our dedicated and friendly staff are always happy to help you. We are also lucky to have more than 50 volunteers who help to keep our store running smoothly and help us to constantly restock our sales floor.

We're located at 9995 W. Lincoln Hwy. in Frankfort, IL. We are just west of the intersection of routes 30 & 45. Call us at (815)806-1900 and we'll be happy to provide directions.
