My son is in his last year and only attended for a year. This school is ok. The school tries to control the kids in the school as much as possible. They are strict on uniforms and yes jackets have to be open. Reason: kids find it necessary to bring weapons to school. 
Lockers have been taken away. Reason: kids find it necessary to bring in drugs and hide it in the locker. My son does complain about the food, it doesn't taste good and it's not much what they get. He always comes home hungry.
My sons teachers have been doing a good job. He has improved his grades and they help him where they can. 
The main issue we encountered was rascism. As a causasian blond blue eyed kid he gets excluded. More than 75% is Spanish speaking and that's the language the kids speak in school to each other. In my opinion it is a better school than all the other ones around. Middle schools are hard these days

Literally the worst middle school in Osceola County. I`ve been a student here for nearly 3 years and I can confirm that this school is terrible in every way a school can be. Teachers DO NOT care as I've been told that when no grades were put in 6 weeks into the quarter, "my day ends at 2:45"(15 minutes after dismissal) The buildings are in less than good condition. The paint is chipping, the ceilings leak, the fans squeak and shake and theres cement thrown over holes in the walls. Then theres the students. The students that go to this school have arranged a "fight week" earlier in the school year where they planned out ELEVEN fights and had them all across the campus. "Throw Hands Thursday" and "Fist Fight Friday" were their official names. It doesn't matter what the administration tries to do they just won't change the students` behavior. They've had to put extra teachers in the hallways and make sure that no one stops on their way to class to prevent this, but after about a week they give up. The buses are where kids really like to be ridiculous in every way possible. They throw things at each other and the driver, anything from paper balls to FULL water bottles. Things are thrown out of windows, sometimes hitting cars, but they don`t care. Even the drivers are used to it at this point. A fight even happened on a bus and the driver didn't even stop because he knew that nothing would be able to break them up. Overall 0/10 school don`t send your kids here.

This school is terrible, Greasy food, fights all the time, ghetto, they don't even do a good job trying to be nice either. They grade really terrible
