The moment you walk in to Nev's Barbecue you know you're in the right spot! The family atmosphere and friendly service is very inviting. Seven of us went for dinner and sat at the live-edge community table. The walk up ordering was very efficient and the owners Tommy and Marc were very knowledgeable and educational on their recommendations. They both came out to the dining area at separate times to ensure everyone had enough on their plates and that we all were enjoying our meals. The other wait-staff offered to get us refills anytime our drinks were low. It is close to impossible to leave there still hungry! Very reasonably priced for high quality smoked meats, complimentary side options, and large cups for sodas with the GOOD ice!. Top it all off with a delicious warm brownie or cobbler. We have become regulars after one visit and when we go back I'll make sure to have my elastic-waist stretch pants on. 10 out of 10, great job Nev's!
If you like smoked meats, just walking in the door at Nev's BBQ will make you salivate. The smoked meats are moist, juicy and full of flavor. Located in Promenade Plaza, there is both indoor and outdoor seating. And I saw plenty of to go orders being picked up. If placing your order in the restaurant, move down the wall on the right of the dining room to the counter. There you will be able to build your the meal of your choice working with the Nev's friendly team members. You have your choice of smoked brisket, pork, sausage and chicken. They are offered as a sandwich, a salad or a platter meal. They also have a number of house made sides, desserts and sauces. I am looking forward to going back frequently to see how they fine tune their offerings.
My search for authentic slow-smoked barbecue in Palm Beach County is over! Nev’s is the place that serves the best smoked brisket I’ve ever tasted! I always look for the perfect combination of smokey flavors, multi-colored smoke ring and flakey but super juicy texture and I never found it in Florida until I stepped into NEV’S! When I asked for brisket, they dropped the brisket roast on the cutting board for slicing and steaming juices spilled off the counter. I knew these would be slices of Heaven!
Hands down best barbecue in the area!! My family ordered a giant sampler of all the meats m sides. Everything was super flavorful and we all had different favorites!! Nevs took BBQ side staples and elevated the flavor profiles and the meats were perfectly tender and flavorful. My personal favorites were the brisket, horseradish pickles, and mac-n-cheese. All my kids loved it too and my six year old is already asking when we can come back again!
Alright. So I walk around this plaza frequently and saw this place come in, and as a native Kansan I was naturally intrigued. I asked the people outside how it was and they said pretty solid and the brisket was good so I came back the following Friday. I am a bean fanatic and these were easily the best beans I've had outside of KCMO. Nice chunks of brisket, flavorful, excellent. A surprising front runner was also their delicious cornbread. As told to me by the man serving me, "8 spices, doesn't need butter, doesn't even need a drink", and that's honestly underselling it. They are remarkable. I feel like they hit everything from sweet to savory to salty. My boyfriend went up and bought two more immediately afterwards. Brisket was 6/10.
From the moment you park and start walking towards the front door you can smell the amazing smoker at work and upon entering you are greeted with a gorgeous mural and a wall of B&W photos taking you on the journey of the art and "Treedition" of smoked barbecue. Then you get to order your delicious choice of meats and varieties of hot and cold sides and dessert the brownie is where it's at Everything is made in house with love and it shows all the way thru! When you take a trip down the hall to thr restrooms equipped with beautiful barn doors while the opposite wall is adorned with photos of the types of trees used in the process along with a sample of the wood to see and touch! A class act establishment and excited for the future of Nevs and its growing family and team members! Kid-friendliness: Family owned and operated so very kid friendly including a changing table room separate from the bathrooms. The Mac n cheese and pickels have been a kid fave! Parking: Plenty of spots as it is located in a large Publix plaza.
We tried one of everything and there was nothing we didn’t like. If I had to choose the brisket, the corn bread, the Mac and cheese and the bread pudding desert were my favorites . If you like pickles you need to try those also. Service was fast and staff were very friendly. Definitely going back again.
Nev’s BBQ is a great lunch spot for BBQ. I’ve already a handful of times and it has been phenomenal every time I have gone. Service is also phenomenal. Corn bread is some of the best I have ever had!
Amazing BBQ! I got the brisket sandwich combo with the mac and cheese. Everything was sooo good. The brisket is super tender and juicy. The bun for the sandwich was the just the consistency and the tangy Carolina BBQ sauce is something I didn't know I had been missing my whole life until I tried it. The mac and cheese is better than home cooked and the service was over the top good. I'm thankful I live close because this just became a new favorite spot!!
Lovely little spot, fantastic lunch. We sampled a few different things to try it all out. We had sausage, chicken, and brisket. All very good and pricing was on point. $40 fed our family of 4 two small eaters including drinks. Brisket was amazing, they also have burnt ends, which I didn't get to try yet, but I will! Cornbread was delicious .
