I went there to look for tennis shoes and was greeted at the entrance by a young, tall, and slender fellow with an afro hair do and smelled like he had not taken a shower in days. Nevertheless, what happened had nothing with his looks or how he smelled like. 

I politely told him that I am looking for "tennis" shoes. He pointed and replied "court shoes are over there". I know many places would carry court shoes but not tennis shoes, and I repeated, "I am looking for 'tennis' shoes specifically because court shoes are not necessary tennis shoes". He again repeated what he said earlier, "... court shoes are over there". Knowing I would not get any where with this person, I was willing to risk my time and check it out, so I started walking toward the "court shoes" section. I then heard him whispered to himself "whatever!"

Hearing that, I was so turned off, made a U-turn heading to the exit, and decided to take my business elsewhere and would never go back to the New Balance Factory Store in San Clemente.

Staff is amazingly helpful and funny. Never have to wait if I need help. Ive bought four pairs so far at this location and plan to continue being a customer. The prices and specials specific to the store are fantastic. I highly recommend to anyone who has foot pain like myself as the shoes and insoles are all top notch.

My wife and I know the New Balance brand well.Good quality but can be a little pricey compared to other well made brands.
