Sushi was between adequate and good.  Ordered a beef dish off the Chinese menu. Tad sweet for my taste but been off sugar for a while so may have been overly sensitive. Good service on a quiet night.  Sorry they didn't have the buffet going night anymore.  Still will be back.

I just moved to the area and love this place.  The sushi was superb, and the food was amazing. The sauses were all wonderfully balanced and the vegetables were perfect.  And our server, Dawn, made the experience the best part of the day. We will definitely be back, regularly.

Eclectic menu got this a 4 from a 3. Little bit of mainland China, Korea, and Japanese fusion/parralel offerings. All of which were awesome. Kimchi must be a local or owner production because it wasn't that canned drab I've gotten at many o places. The light hint of ginger really sealed the deal as not too strong  but just right. The Mongolian beef was pretty decent. Little light on the crispy but nice flavor. I'd eat here again. I'd give it a 3.5 overall down from 4 as the price is a little high for the area but then again the portion sizes really take that argument down to near nothing. Solid eats. If you want good American style Chinese with a twist, eat here.

I love the food at this restaurant. I used to strictly only get Sweet and Sour Chicken, until it was recommended to me to try Mongolian Chicken. From there I moved on to Bul Go Gi, General, Sesame, Teriyaki, Broccoli Chicken.. most everything on the menu. I haven't disliked a single dish yet, nor do I find them overly oily or bland.
I have been across the country and tried many Chinese places, but this one still holds a special place in my heart. Ever since the management change, the food and service has been great, I've never received a bad meal from New China Luck and I highly recommend it over any other place in Rapid City.
I've found that if I have any complaints and bring it up with this place, they are very accommodating and do their best to fix my food.

So good best chinese in town and the best price. Not to mention the nice staff it's my favorite! Buffet is great and the Happy Family is amazing!
