The Ivyland Train ride is a must for families with young children. The live narration keeps children entertained while they learn about the train, and the beautiful area in bucks county. From beginning to end, it is the perfect amount of time for young travelers. Before you go be sure to grab a bite at the Triumph Brewery located directly across from the platform. Kids will get excited to see the train pulling in while they enjoy their lunch on the outside patio. Look into the many ongoing events: Christmas train ride, Halloween, Valentines Day etc. There is also a gift shop near the ticket booth and they serve sodas , beer , and wine on board. "All Aboard !"

Took a ride on the Santa ride. The trip out was really nice with music, songs, and hot chocolate. Santa came as did Mrs Clause which the kids loves. The trip back was sort of dead though. There was no more music or interaction and the kids all started getting bored and cranky. I wish there had been activity or entertainment for the whole trip, especially because after dark you can't see anything outside the car.

Tourist gimmick! Audio recording was not working properly, would cut in and out every few seconds. The cheapest train ticket was TWENTY TWO DOLLARS for a 50 minute ride. Crazy overpriced. Spend your money elsewhere.
