New Hope Lutheran Church is a suburban ELCA Lutheran Church in Missouri City, TX; southwest of Houston, and east of Sugar Land. We believe that the Good News of God is for all people regardless of their personal status, race, creed, sexuality, or any other label or condition that divides and separates people.

We are a champion of mission work to the underprivileged and vulnerable in our community and beyond, including the East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry, the New Hope Clinic, Family Promise of Fort Bend County, the Interfaith Coalition for Mutual Respect, and El Buen Pastor Iglesia Luterana in Usulután, El Salvador.

We believe that each person is endowed with special gifts from the Creator that can be used for betterment of the world and the good of all humankind. We are proud to empower our members to service, whether through music and artistic expression in worship, or through charitable giving of time, money, and abilities in mission.

It is our sincere prayer that everyone we encounter will experience the life-changing love of God through us.
When we open our hearts and allow the goodness of God to take root in the good soil of our lives, that love grows in us and is multiplied through the love we show to the world.

to WORSHIP God, thanking Him for all He has done praising Him through music and celebrating our life together

to CARE for one another and the community around us by providing nurture and spiritual growth for the members of New Hope and by providing care to the community

to EMPOWER one another by equipping the people of New Hope to live out their faith, and by advocating for justice and peace
