This location is supposedly open until 7:30PM on Tuesdays – this is a lie. Because of it's small capacity (64 people TOTAL), they line everyone up outside. I got there at 5:45 and was number 15 in line outside – and I didn't get into the building!!! At 6:15 the Security/Police Officer let 12 people in (I was then 3rd in a line of 50 people). He said there was a "good chance he'd take another group". NOPE. He hand picked people with children from the line to go in (ahead of everyone else ). NOBODY ELSE GOT IN. The Security/Police Officer strung us along, not giving definitive answers. Everyone who was leaving the building said it was empty inside and the workers shut down their stations at 7:15! So basically the MVC closes at 6:15 on Tuesdays. If you're not in the building by 6:15, you won't get your license/registration/etc processed.

Blonde haired staff sitting to the left of the desk at ID check-in let a family member named Amanda skip the entire line while the rest of us sat there upwards of two hours. No other staff did anything to stop it. The people taking the picture and fee were fine once you finally got to them. Something is really wrong when the DMV parking is reserved for a nearby business. What is going on with that place?

The government business I've ever seen that requires you to sit in a line outside the building. They lack the facility and process to handle the amount of people coming into their building. Additionally, their staff has zero patience, concern for the customer, or desire to accommodate.

I don't know why people are complaining about this location. I just went there today first thing at 8 am and got home in Maplewood by 9:53 am. That isn't bad in comparison to time spent in other DMV's. They are super organized at this place and I think that might be the only reason why people may perceive the doorman and workers as "bossy or rude". Marisol Martinez helped me and she was super sweet & friendly. She also gave me some pointers a how to take a good photo. :0)

The male receptionist was unprofessional and made a unprofessional facial comment when it came to working with my cousin who has an impairment. Then he looked at the guard who is an older guy bald head Caucasian or Spanish guy. While I was waiting the receptionist had derogatory statements about several people who came through the door. The location is great but the receptionist and guy need some additional social skills.
