Always horrible customer service!! Would not recommend banking here. Have had a bank account with them for more than a decade. Better branch is downtown. Always new people so obviously a reason for the turnover and they still have the same negative attitude. The ora is weird and not welcoming..switching banks soon. Have even had better customer service at a walmart compared to here.

This is the best bank, period.  It may very well be the best business in Santa Fe.  I have lived all over the country and the best thing that I can say about any of my banks is that some were good enough that I didn't dislike them.  So I surprised even myself when I found myself feeling so strongly about NMBT.  

Any small business owner knows that it is hard to be taken seriously at banks.  Not so at NMBT.  They understand that a business owner's income documentation is different than that of a W-2 employee and they have worked really hard to help us succeed. Over the past 3 years, we have been through the home mortgage, HELOC, commercial mortgage, and SBA loan process with them, and THEY ARE AMAZING.  They know what they are doing; they care about you and your family; and they manage the banking regulation bureaucracy with professionalism and efficiency.  Work with them and they will work with you.
