I have been a patient for two an a half years. The surgeons and physician assistants are amazing! I’ve always received great care here from procedures to needing a simple prescription. the staff always goes above and beyond to meet their patients medical needs! I highly recommend coming here if you have an ent issues!

I have been a patient of New Mexico Sinus Institute for a number of years and have always been impressed with their promptness in assisting me, their professionalism, knowledge and skills. Each time I arrive for an appointment each staff member treats me with respect and kindness. I seldom have wait times. I recommend this company to everyone with sinus issues.

Consultation was fine, booked me for surgery. Surgery did not fix my breathing issues. Prior to surgery, we discussed what would be covered by my insurance. After my surgery, they sent me a bill for almost $500 that was not discussed. Bait and Switch. Would NEVER go back and would recommend to others to avoid going here or get them to put in writing your out of pocket costs. 1 star is generous.

This was the email I received today from the billing department. I'm 6 days away from being sent to collections for a visit that had happened 2 years ago. I never received one bill saying we owed nor have I ever received a call. Yet they're trying to point the finger at me. Both my daughters had tonsillectomies with the NM sinus institute back in 2015 here we are almost in 2018. I don't even want to remember the surgeries and the experience I had with the surgeon and staff. It was so long ago. I also had a consultation but nothing was done. My whole experience with these people was bad why I proceeded idk but I do regret it. One of my daughters aspirated during surgery. I never had a follow up visit or follow up call from the surgeon or his nurses. My review about the surgery experience was deleted with the name change along with the other 100 negative reviews that were left by others. My WHOLE experience with this place has been a nightmare. Please if you are considering surgery or your family member is needing surgery STAY AWAY! There are plenty of ENT's in the state. Email from some lady that works in another state and does insurance for this company. It's ridiculous how some companies are even allowed to run a business like this. "This is part of the that was sent: We apologize about the issues that have occurred and for all the inconveniences. The first statement sent to you was not until September of 2016, the reason for this was because of the issues with your insurance. When you were seen back in 2015 you provided us the incorrect insurance sequence. That is where the problem started, after working with your insurance and finally figuring it out, we were denied for timely filing by your insurance." Do yourself a favor STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE both in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho

Went to appointment the front office staff though pleasant did not have an understanding of insurances. They stated I had more than one insurance, I do not and told them this. The ladies in the front office where flippant (but not openly rude) told me if I were to be seen and the insurance didn't pay I would be responsible for the full charges of the appointment, I understand this; for I have worked in medical front office before and have an understanding of how insurance works and I know how to verify insurances etc. But I truly believe the front office and or billing department in this office does not know how to work a insurance portal or call customer service themselves. They collected a copayment I know I didn't have, however, I did receive this back. It just comes down to the lack of customer service and the fact that they didn't care, I guess they do not need more patients. Instead of making the extra effort for me, the patient so I could be seen they told me to call my insurance company and gave me and gave me their office so I could call back and reschedule the appointment. I AM NOT GOING BACK TO THAT OFFICE! It just comes down to customer service they didn't care. They did not offer any help and this is not the kind of service I want when I go to a doctor's office. I realize that office staff in medical office has to do more work with less workers but a patient should never be treated as they are not important. They lost a patient and I will make sure to let others know of my experience and refer them elsewhere.
