This unfortunately is my "neighborhood" currency exchange, I'm ashamed to admit!! They are horrible at everything!! There is absolutely no sense of urgency, hence you will stand in line forever. And the overweight older woman is so rude that she should NOT be exposed to the public at all. Her attitude and demeanor is disgusting to say the least. She is the epitome of unprofessional, as I once watched her snack on Subway and attempt to service customers(the customers lost). Even though this currency exchange is within walking distance to my home, I will hop in my car and drive a few blocks south to the much more friendly, efficient currency located at 159th and Lagrange, by the Best Buy. They are so much more welcoming, and their money orders are FREE!! Take the trip, guys it's so much more pleasent when your greeted by a happy face than a manager named Alma and a woman more concerned with being rude and eating than helping customers. I asked for the manager, after the rude older, eater screwed up my money order because she was way too busy talking with this Alma girl. When I asked for the manager, Alma came to the window and proceeded to tell me that she was the manager and gave me a email address to complain to the "owner" if i so wished. This place should not be patronized, unless its an emergency.

Unfortunately, I did not read the reviews before visiting Orland Currency Exchange. At first everything appeared normal during my visit. I went to register a car and to get a new title. I filled out all necessary forms and paid all fees and taxes I was told were due (over $300). I was advised to call in about two weeks to check if the plates were in and that the title will be mailed to me. I called two weeks later, gave my name and was told that the plates were not in yet but should arrive any day. Two days later I received a phone call from Currency Exchange telling me that I need to come in to pay additional money. I was told that the amount I was charged was incorrect and I need to come up with another $47.00 or I will not get my plates. The lady's attitude was that it was my fault that I was charged the wrong amount. I sent my son with the balance but now we have to wait another 2 weeks or who knows how long before our application is processed. Very sloppy customer service to say the least!. Will not come back.
