We ordered crab balls for an appetizer. I was disappointed when I bit into it to find imitation crab meat. They tasted okay, but I can promise you won’t find imitation crab meat in anything in New Orleans. Also, we got the red beans and rice as a side; it was pretty bland, so we had to add salt and hot sauce. The fried catfish and shrimp were good, but one of fried oysters was full of shell. The price was pretty reasonable for the amount of food you get.

When I saw the line of cars outside, I got excited because I thought they were for the restaurant. After walking in there were 2 tables with patrons. I took a chance and ordered my food thinking how bad it could be. What a disappointment! New Orleans is known for two things in the food world Gumbo and oversized portions of whatever it is you order. The only thing oversized here was my food cost. The person who took my ordered charged me for a shrimp dish when I told them I was allergic to shell fish. And I never knew you could make Cesar salad with iceberg lettuce. My ranch dressing taste like a store brand and the fettuccini didn't even taste as good as the one I make at home. I've only given a 1 star rating one other time to a place, but this one I won't soon forget.

I hadn't had the chance to stop by since they opened and finally did tonight. I was definitely impressed. While the selection wasn't huge, it's definitely a new local favorite for me. Do yourself a favor and go for the Salmon New Orleans... It's well worth it. Also, the blackened Salmon Tacos were to die for, just make sure you don't wear white.... Better yet, bring a spare shirt.

We love New Orleans Kitchen. The food is great. The prices are reaaonable. It's a bit small, and servers are less than attentive at times, but this can be a great place.

We really enjoyed this place. The food was great and the prices are right. I have been raving about this place to everyone. Clean and friendly environment. Nice staff. I really can not say enough about the place. We can not wait to go back.
