The New School Libraries & Archives provide access to collections of materials to support the research and teaching of The New School.
The New School Libraries have locations at the University Center, the List Center, and at Arnhold Hold (the College of Performing Arts).
The specialized holdings of each collection include a wealth of books, journals, scores, sound and video recordings (feature films, television programs, and musical performances), archival materials, and visual images that are available to every member of the university community (archival materials are also available to the general public).
The mission of the University Libraries & Archives is to provide access to collections of materials sufficient in quality, depth, diversity, format and currency to support the research and teaching missions of The New School.
